Writing well is a fundamental skill for lawyers. We looked earlier at drafting contractual documents. This module turns its attention to written correspondence. We will look particularly at how to open a letter or email; how to address individuals and companies correctly; and how to sign off. This module will also cover some practical issues such as writing the date.
